I used to live overseas where i was studying, when i came back i really wasnt able to find a job, i was called in for a couple of interviews.
I recall going in for an interview for this company that does outsourcing for citibank. Most of the people working there were from India(just know it once they start talking and the way they dressed)
I was interviewed by an FT and he asked me this question "are u willing to work harder then the foreigners who also are getting interviewed for this position?" I looked at him and was like startled and actually was very insulted! I mean u come to my country and you ask me if i am going to work hardeR then the FTS!!!!
I am currently employed in teaching young children and i just have to say i am very concerned about my colleagues who are from china, they are talking to some kids in mandarin and these kids english skills are so poor they cant understand basic english that kids their age should understand, what happens when they start primary school?
It really is a different singapore now!</TD></TR><TR><TD></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
