Basically each year indicated the battles done and won by Hokkien great hero TOP warrior Zheng Chenggong and started from Hokkien province cities in 1648 moving upwards to Guangdong cities to Zhejiang cities by 1656. And with increasing military power, he decided to go beyond coastal areas - where his naval warfare strength lies - to target Nanjing aka Jiangning occupied by Qing invaders since 1645.

The map showing the route of the Hokkien great hero Zheng Chenggong’s two attempts to attack Qing in Nanjing aka Jiangning in 1657 and 1658 that both resulted in failure. One time due to heavy storm - heaven never helped kind soul indeed - the second time due to lack of experience in land battles and too kind to north general. Don’t forget the Zheng family and their troops background is armed naval smugglers or traders.

Alas, heaven never helped Hokkien great hero to give him more time. After his 1658 second attempt to fight Qing invaders in Nanjing failed, he retreated to Taiwan and successfully kicked out the Dutch in 1661 after a ten month protracted war but he died the next year at only age 37!

which is stupid anyway as they should be fully aware of typhoon season hitting the southeast coast of china anytime from summer to autumn, since they were from fuckien province. many of their ancestors from fuckien province died and drowned in a cat 6.9 typhoon when they aided the mongols in the invasion of japan hundreds of years ago. they never learn.
