Hamas and Hezbollah still thrives.
Wasn't it Israel that seek US help for a ceasefire after Hezbollah gave IDF a good beating during incursion into southern Lebanon?
Hezbollah only stopped after Israel started hitting civilian homes in southern Beirut and even after agreeing to a ceasefire. Israel continued pounding areas in Lebanon. It was Israel that retreated.

Actually the Arab monarchs want Israel to wipe off Hamas.
They know very well, if Hamas wins and get a Palestinian nation, their place on the throne will be threatened.
