Iinsufficient parking lots - so how did last parking charges increase solve problem?

In true PAP-style, the HDB increased all HDB parking charges to 'ease' demand. Only idiotic HDB board and its senior executives think that problem can be solved by increasing charges. People have no choice - they need a farking space to part their car, regardless of rates. Now, are they going to reduce charges?
