A similar article below is now the WAR-CRY of Malaysians. We too are in the same position and have to CHANGE to make it Right
"Gia Ey Khee, Pang Eh Lok" or You Can Lift It, You Can Also Put It Down.
As humans we Change everyday. We must Change or Die Poor
We Change Clothes for festivities
We Change Cars when there are funds
We Change house when there are funds
We Change schools for our kids for our convenience
We Change food for our lunch, dinner and so on
We even Change jobs for better benefits
Even in our work place with intense (change control) we are willing to make
Changes!!!!
So I ask…why can’t we change an arrogant government which will not change its ways all these years just by a simple X on the ballot paper?
Remember that our parents and many of us supported the PAP by carrying it up on our "shoulders" in the past. We were behind the PAP when it rode into Glory amidst shouts of "Merdeka, Merdeka, Merdeka".
When the PAP became strong, it slowly but surely started heading towards the tempestuous "Road of Sheer Arrogance".
It was at this time it that it Cast us aside.
It openly started to "shove" policies down our throats". Latest is the White Paper on Population.
It openly started a "free for all immigration excercise" that brought in millions of people from third world countries with their bad habits.
With the passing years we were slowly invaded successfully.
The newcomers are now demanding that we, the original settlers listen to their whims and fancies. Smell of curry and abuse of us on the Internet...
Taxi drivers complain about these people - some of who are prostitutes here in the guise of "Peidu-mas".
These people stole our jobs, and even took over coffeeshops and hawker stalls.
Their demand for homes created a "shortage" and prices shot upwards.
Their presence increased the crowds on trains, buses and highways.
We never find "smooth" rides on highways, even during "of-peak" period.
The EMAS signs shows the same message, "Jams Ahead Till .............Exit".
Isn't it high time that we need a new Government..!!!!
There's is nothing to be afraid for these is your constitutional right. Choose your leaders and remove them if they fail to sattisfy your expectations. Simple as that. So "Jangan Takut" (famous words of encouragement from LKY to MKA Jabbar in Radin Mas during the latter's victory")
Dont be fooled or being made use of all these years.
Our beloved Nation is being grossly mis-managed.
The health care is getting expensive by the day.
There are insufficient facilities for our poor and ageing people.
Are you waiting to become like the people mentioned above or are you wanting to make a stand for yourself and for your future generations. Think about it carefully and then cast your votes wisely in 2016 or any By Election.
Take the Ministers and MPs to task. They are paid indecently high salaries while the poor suffer on the street dumps
This is the opportune moment. Grab it and act fast.
Don't let the roots sink deeper for that would only lead to an initial surface clean-up.
Identify the trees with deep roots and pull these out collectively - one at a time.
Our salaries don't even increase. Our people are being sucked dry. ERP, expensive houses, high utilities fees, high cost of daily food items. Sky-rocketing prices of baby's milk. The list goes on and on...........
The govt must be changed or else many hardships will follow.
Please Wake up from your close to 5 decades slumber.
Look at Penang State as a good example of change after decades of mis-rule and abuse of positions by the members of the Barisan Nasional.
The Opposition Pakatan-led State Government in Penang can give her citizens free internet access within one year in Government, rice for the poor, while BN Government in power since Independence cannot do it? . . . . . Just Think!!!
DECIDE Now Or Blame Yourself For The Hardship On The Next generation.
When you greet someone, "GONG XI FA CAI" also greet them "WE HAVE TO CHANGE AND MAKE IT RIGHT"

An ancient wise Chinese saying:-
"It's not your fault if you are born poor. But it is definitely your fault if you die poor. Destiny is in your hands."

"No matter how noble the objectives of a government, if it blurs decency and kindness, cheapens human life and breeds ill will and suspicion – it is an evil government"
