If the Germans won World war II

Germans nearly conquered the world if only Hitler had been patient...

He once asked his scientists how long to make the atom bomb... they repled some 3 to 5 years...that was in 1938..when german scientists were raining London with their V-2s...Hitler wanted to win the war fast and hence did not wait for the A bomb and abandon the nuclear route.

The Americans, with the help of Einstien came out with the bomb only in 1945..

We would be speaking german now if Hitler had been patient.....

More's the pity. :(

If the Germans had won the War, one thing is certain: the Americans would not have their swagger.

yes Hitler liked Chinese but disliked Japanese.....Hitler was once financially supported by a Chinese couple living in Austria when he was still a student. It looks he liked The Arts of War and militarily supported the Chinese government until Germany formed the alliance with Japan....

dunno then dun anyhow say. nothing to do with hitler liked chinese or japanese. hitler sent german military advisors to KMT after KMT purged the ranks of leftists inside KMT. the german advisors reorganised around 12-20 infantry divisions to aid KMT fight against the CCP. In fact, the bloody racist germans offend the chinese so much that chiang almost wanted to get rid of the germans and replace with the french. It was intervention from the general hans von seeckt that kept the germans in china.

Hitler really liked Chinese leader Chiang Kai Shek a lot. Chiang admired Hitler too. the two leaders unfortunately never had the opportunity to meet in person.

whether hitler and chiang liked each other or not, i dun know but both of them believe they are the only one who can saved their nations. Both will do anything just to achieve their goals. Both also like to give lessons to their senior officers in the situation/map room and treat their chief of staff as messenger boys. Both use the underworld aka gangsters in their rise to power.

the German doctrines, training and equipment were used by the Kuomintang central government army or Chiang Kai Shek's army. the Chinese troops from the 20s to 30s used a variety of weapons around the world, ie. Germany, Japan, Soviet Union, Italy, Britain, the United States, France, the Czech Republic..... Chinese general Li Zongren said that the Chinese army troops' equipments were like the world armament display center.

in those days, different warloads buy their own weapons from the lowest bidder so there no standard weapons but there were certain weapons standout as standard as they were consider the best before US arms aids arrived after the war. The chinese rifle always based on the mauser design and the chinese obtain license from mauser to manufacture the rifle. for light MG, the czech zb vz.26 and also the KMT make copies of the excellent MG34 and KMT also used the maxim guns as heavy MG. for sidearms, the iconic mauser C96 broomhandle pistols were issued to the officers.

the only country that wanted a ceasefire between China and Japan was Germany.
China really owed a lot to these German friends during wartime.

This hero too:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Rabe

John Rabe (November 23, 1882 – January 5, 1950) was a German businessman who is best known for his efforts to stop the atrocities of the Japanese army during the Nanking Occupation and his work to protect and help the Chinese civilians during the event. The Nanking Safety Zone, which he helped to establish, sheltered approximately 200,000 Chinese people from slaughter during the massacre.

Postwar

After the war, Rabe was arrested first by the Soviet NKVD and then by the British Army. Both, however, let him go after intense interrogation. He worked sporadically for Siemens, earning very little. He was later denounced for his Nazi Party membership by an acquaintance. He was stripped of the work permit that he had previously been given by the British Zone, and had to undergo a very lengthy de-nazification process (his first attempt was rejected and he had to appeal) in the hope of regaining the permission to work. He had to pay his own legal defense costs, which depleted his savings.[14]

Unable to work to support his family and with the savings spent the family survived in a one room apartment by selling his Chinese art collection, but this did not provide enough to avoid malnutrition. He was formally declared "de-Nazified" by the British in June 3, 1946 but thereafter continued to live in poverty. The family lived on wild seeds that the children would eat with soup, and on dry bread until that was no longer available either.[14]

In 1948, the citizens of Nanking learned of the very dire situation of the Rabe family in occupied Germany and they quickly raised a very large sum of money, equivalent to $US 2000 (US$ 19,000 in 2012). The city mayor himself went to Germany, via Switzerland where he bought a large amount of food for the Rabe family. From mid 1948 until the communist takeover the people of Nanking also sent a food package each month, for which Rabe in many letters expressed deep gratitude.[14]

Death and legacy
John H D Rabe tombstone in NanjingOn January 5, 1950, Rabe died of a stroke. In 1997 his tombstone was moved from Berlin to Nanjing (as it is now) where it received a place of honor at the massacre memorial site.

In 2005, Rabe's former residence in Nanking (as it then was) was renovated and now accommodates the "John Rabe and International Safety Zone Memorial Hall", which opened in 2006. The Austrian Service Abroad has been invited to send a Peace Servant.[citation needed

Hitler's dream was to unite Europe with his so-called Third Reich which he boasted were to last 1,000 years, a 20th century echo of the Holy Roman Empire (First Reich) founded by German emperors in the 10th century. Alas, the Nazi Reich lasted only 12 years. The Germans always have the ambition to lead Europe and an earlier attempt to rule Europe via the Prussian-lead Second Reich collapsed at the end of WW1. The ambition continues and to this day the leadership of the EU is still in the hands of Germany.
