Do you have a mixed feeling when they talk about singaporeans come first ?
Some forum guys are right to say that singaporeans are now divided into two groups--the new ones and the locals.
When you say you need FT workers to build MRT and HDB flats, and man the IRs, are u not telling voters that that is the best you can do for the locals ?
You say graveyard shift is shunned by local people, but why you lure these factories to singapore knowing local people cannot survive with?
HK MTR was built to serve its people, MRT is built to serve the massive foreigners , no?
You keep building HDB becos more FTs are becoming citizens, no?
You keep telling voters that low birth rate is the reason why you augment the population with Fts , did you ever think why there is a low birth rate ?? The FT policy has another meaning politically for the polls ???
We have a first- class govt with the highest pay in world , and now they are saying they have to create lowly paid jobs for FTs ? Not funny ???
Then where is the swiss standard of living ? Tell us about it !
But then, these lowly paid jobs taken up FT workers , indirectly are making them rich becos of the exchange rate. Local singaporeans will not able to pay HDB debts with $800 to $1000 pay after expenditures.
As an elected govt , if you declare Singapore first -world with expensive housing that pay for life, you need to create jobs that proportional to the first -world environment for the locals---this is your job when you are voted in as govt.....so what are you doing taking so much money and yet telling Ft workers are economic backbones. So without them, singapore fails big time ??? We are so feeble ??
Singapore is not just a fairy land to some old guys, it is an island belongs to the local people.
without the local people, will there be PAP or FTs coming ??? Yes or no?
You make yourself stomach so full, and now you turn the bowl upside down, you can sleep well ?
Singapore is about money and work ? yes ? A place to just give birth, and produce babies to serve the SAF ??
