If all seats were SMCs, the ministers would not go. People like Vivian, Shanmugam, Khaw would easily retain their seats. The opposition will not send their big guns to contest against the ministers because the chances of winning are lower. Instead they will target the lower-profile backbenchers. Similarly, the PAP will not send their best candidates to contest against incumbent WP MPs, especially not Low TK or Sylvia.
