If Lee Kuan Yew had surfed the internet and came across the JBJ Facebook, he would be dismayed, saddened and shocked by some of the tributes given by Singaporeans to his ex-nemesis JBJ.

He must be scratching his head why in spite of the massive protracted campaign to demonize JBJ as a “psychopath” out to “destroy Singapore” over the past 3 decades, there are still Singaporeans who naively hailed him as a hero, a patriot and a great son of Singapore !

JBJ got balls to stand up for democracy, he was the voice of the people who were oppressed. all the time kena whack by the famiLee, until he was bankrupt, but at 80++ after he's no longer bankrupt, he came out to start new opposition party again.

all his yrs of hardship & suffering in politics already earned alot of respect. unlike somebody who only know how to demand respect.

In their tributes, S'poreans are calling JBJ 'sir' and hailing him as a hero by their own will. How many PAP leaders and SAF commanders do we call 'sir' voluntarily?? The people are not blind - they know who is the selfless hero and who is the tyrant.

i doubt any pap leaders will have jbj's gut to continue fighting despite being repeatedly "demolished" by his opponents. i think not even lky has the gut!
