As many people know, ecig is banned in Singapore for very dubious reasons. However, I just received one that was posted from Singapore. Shows the hypocritical nature of the government where something might be banned, but exports of it is still allowed, while its own populace do not get a chance to make up its own mind of whether to use it or not.

Another rxample.
SG also supposedly banned porn.
But there are companies doing roaring business providing online subscription porn.....with payment charged via the local telcos billings.

Oh, I din know that, so you saying SingTel, M1 etc actually charges for online subscription for porn sites? Or do you mean, paying your monthly internet subscription, hence using that to access porn? I thought they have proxies to prevent that?

Yes I was as surprised as you.
Not the usual credit card request thingy even.
For the fun of it I click on it....my telco bill came with a few extra $12.50-$25 charge
Had a good time calling up the Starhub billing hotline afterwards and fucking them up to get a waiver.

Can complain to MDA? Porn subscription for telcos etc? Or, is porn legal in SIngapore nowadays?

I couldn't be bothered coz i know the telcos or mda aren't bothered....I got nothing against porn too.
So becareful next time surfing the net using mobile devices when they prompt you to click and verify your local phone number.

govt can never completely ban something. eventually someway or somehow it will pop out. from underground trade or whatsoever. online porn is hard to crack down for that matter

Some items can brought into the country but not for domestic use. Have to b re exported. Been going on ffor yonks. In sim lim sq many moons ago. Saw those walkie talkies with scramblers. Not allowee to b used in spore. N re exported.

By that logic, drugs should be the same as well. As long not for domestic consumption.

That may be true but the company peddling PORN is a Spore GLC,

I am quite sure the health benefits of e-ciggie outweighs the health benefits of not smoking.
