The ability to see far is an absolute prerequisite to be a good government...!

If a government has weak foresight, that government only brings chaos and disaster to that country...!

If the agenda in a country is constantly changing, daily, sometimes even hourly, we must know that we are governed by ignorance, inefficiency and incompetence...!

And perhaps worse, we are run by treacherous traitors who only serve foreigners and foreign countries' interests...!

A nation which accepts to live a third-class life is just a third-class nation...!

Based upon the data it is pretty obvious that the government is doing an excellent job. The number of deaths are extremely low.

Road accidents and influenza cause death rates that are far higher.

I would like to congratulate PM Lee and his team for a job well done.

Despotic regimes are not conditioned to see far. They only want to grab as much money for themselves in the short term because they are afraid they won't be around in the long term.
 
The greatest myth is that a government always and automatically looks out for the best interests of its own people, just like a parent caring for his/her child.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

A government is like a pitbull dog. It needs to be trained and restrained, so it does not become a menace for you and other people.

the people shouldn't stick with the pap ruling government for decades. the signs are obvious that the pap are getting more incompetent over the years.

It doesn't work that way. You need to take the deaths for the whole year in order to do a comparison.

Covid has been around for more than 18 months. Divide the total Covid deaths/million over 18 months and compare it with flu deaths over 18 months and you'll see that Covid is a very minor disease and is nothing to worry about.

Pneumonia kills 4000 elderly citizens each year which is a huge number compared to the predicted Covid deaths which will be much, much lower provided people are responsible enough to get their shots.

In a country with an elected govt, its the electorate that determines whether the country as a whole is an asshole or not.

As my uncle had said many times we cannot be using the rate leecorded before the living with Covid-19 peddled by pap becas the lumber of infected was not from the sinkies community but the workers dorms. Now the lumber is showing the real data .
Having said this my uncle might not live long enough to collect his $1:frown:
