A software glitch disrupted SingTel services in parts of Singapore for several hours on Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to a spokesman for the telco, the incidents on both days started from about midday and lasted until evening.

Only SingTel mobile customers in 'some limited areas' in central Singapore experienced intermittent difficulty in making calls and accessing the 3G network.

However, they could still use voice, SMS and data services via the 2G network. SingTel traced the cause of the disruption to a software glitch, and engineers began restoring services at 8pm on Wednesday.

also must fuck the outsourced contractor...must be some bunch of FTs ...

When no connection, called fucking SinkieTel and they gave me all kind of bullshit wait wait wait.

This is what happens when all your Telcos are controlled/owned by the govt. They have no incentive to perform good service and ensure there is no "software glitches". If all the Telcos were private companies competing for the customers, they will be heavily punished by the consumer for this sort of fuck up will. People will go to their competitors.
