SINGAPORE - A fradulent e-mail requesting redemption of postal articles detained by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has been circulating on the Internet recently, the authority warned on Friday.

The scam e-mail is being sent from someone claiming to be a duty officer identified as "Chen Ping", with the e-mail address "[email protected]".

ICA says it has made a police report, and advises the public to do the same should they receive the same e-mail.
