I went for a job interview and was rejected

sometimes interviewer and or hiring manager wants you to repeat and verify what you documented on your résumé as during interview what you say may be different from what is posted. i’ve caught many who couldn’t fully remember the timelines of their previous employment and humtum away with conflicting dates. it’s an early indication or warning of sloppiness and forgetfulness. clarity, credibility, conciseness, and care for accuracy and details are criteria of a choice candidate.

True. What one said may not be true. One may BS all the way.

Don't pray pray. In Sinkieland grab drivers are all Sinkie graduates. PMET jobs are reserved for CECAs.

Yes. Its true. But, so long teres income daily. CECA issue we cant do much. Leave it to MIW and next GE.

the problem is now I suspect civil serpent side hiring also freeze. I am in GLC company now that is closely linked to ministry, hiring freeze here (at least 3 have left the company and we cannot hire replacement). So i suspect its the same in ministry.....
Times are bad and which industry is going to massive hiring.
Even government sector they trying to paint a good picture like no problems but still when hiring all delay
Singapore is just too small and moreover no local brand that really make it big. Yes. State own dbs etc is big but how much they contribution to local Singaporean hiring?
Even they also want to said need ft eg CECA.
So overall Singapore is really mess up now.
I saw so many social distancing ambassador walk around.
Is this job good?

I have never stayed with one clinic or job for more than 2 years after I paid off my bond with Singhealth.

Average is 1.5 years then I move to something better or different.
Lucky you not in Singapore.
If you seek help from government agencies surely they said your problem is job hopping experience so can't land a new job.
Not Singapore no jobs
Even Josephine Teo will said that to you

Should apply for the job in CAG...tiagong available soon.

KNN my uncle leelised most job interviewers and decision makers are mostly very keen to see a candidate that was from the same academic institution and course as himself especially he think this candidate must be of certain calibre to qualify for that course KNN athough that interviewer has upgraded himself through the years they cannot forget their roots for the same intake KNN rast time got director interviewer forced my uncle to take up a job even my uncle wasn't keen after hearing more about the job KNN but the director continued to use the pressure and force method hinting he rike he rike KNN he encountered at least 2 of such incidents KNN

KNN the normal force I.e same age group kind is easier to push away but when the leecision makers interviewers are a group professors eg old uncle and auntie kind from those laboratories or tertiary inst they will pull my uncle to see the environment and even say celery can negotiate can add etc will make my uncle scare that they want to use my uncle as a lab guinea pig KNN

My first job , I stayed for 3 years due to the traineeship and bond. 2nd offshore company was for 14 years... Quit in 2017... Had a one year break... Went for few job interviews in 2018. The crew manager, a local Captain interviewed me. Asked me alot of questions why I resigned from my old job after 14 years with them.. KNN he suspected that I had a bad working record with my previous company. I told him can check with my old bosses. Local crew bound to know one another. In the end he offered me the job but few days later I called him to reject his offer even though they paying me nearly the same salary as my previous company. During interview he even remarked that he was just wearing a normal Seiko Diver watch but he mentioned about my BR03-92 watch. My gut feeling then said it's not going to work out working under that chap. In the end, I joined my former boss who set up his own offshore construction company. Hard times now due to Covid but thankfully we are getting sub contracts. Small company, pay much less than what I'm used to, but I'm happier here.

yes, happiness is very important, life is shorter than most of us think,

At today context.
Mostly employer is looking at candidate the remuneration package and age and experience.
You are lucky still young so age no issue.
But what about your requested remuneration and working experience.
Anyway looking for a new job is a long road so you need be stay focus
Thank you for your encouragement.

But that was my experience in sg.

No wonder my sister has this weird thing about wanting to be in the same job for life

This is what sg teaches dumb sinkies? To be slaves?

Usually starting job salary is low. Then one looks for better job with better pay or better hours and prospects. No? Oh must work like 10 years so it is not job hopping?

The idea is stupid.

Knowing you wont get the job. Ask the fcuking idiotic HR back. How long are you with this company? How abt previous company? Why did you leave? End with Knnbccb. No recordings so just fcuk them song song.

Good for you. Sometimes there’s a trade off between a shit company w high pay and a great company w not so good pay.
