i was at little india last night...

everything was calm and peaceful. it wasn't very crowded or congested probably becos of being weekday.

the FT indians were as usual friendly and even greeted u "hello". there didn't seem to be a riot that had happened days before.


i think the news had over exaggerated and not telling giving us an authentic picture :(

so what the hell our pap is so kan cheong about and wanting to charge the indians involved?

just close the matter and move on. if by arresting, it stir up more emotional anger and resentment, then the bloody gahmen would ve made a very terrible mistake!

suppose we reverse the situation into this scenario:

sgporeans go over to india and work. weekend cum, they go merry making in little singapore in india. one indian bang down and kills a singaporean. would the whole bunch of singaporeans there initiate a riot?

i think NO cos as long as it doesn't happen on me, who gives a damn! that's the singaporean's mentality.

now we come back to the indian riot....can u now see the difference about their emotion for their fellow men?
