I wish to say that the docile, obedient, subservient, and conformist traits of the majority of people here, stemmed from Victorian attitudes ingrained into generations of people since British colonial days. In those early days, the law applied to everybody, regardless of race or religion, so it was fair and everybody accepted it because it offered a better society than where they originally came from. Today, is just and extension of the past. No big deal.
