I see retired boomers wearing sports shoes

Even some HDB estate or MRT stations also like that
sinkies and their maids also to blame. so many sinkies have pets these days but many don’t pick up dog poo after their pets. some maids pick them up with poop bags many maids don’t. and then of course tiongs, cecas, banglas spitting everywhere. the mayfair pui is not confined to the virgin alone.

Back then, I used wear this kind of slip-on to school. The Don Johnson Miami Vice look. No socks. I didn't attend school assembly. So nobody noticed at all.

Comfortable men dress shoes for <$200

Looking For

After combing through every similar thread here I've basically narrow down to 2 brand, ardent teal and rad Russel. As they are using quality leather, not some PU leather. Ofc other recommendations are welcome.

So I wanna know which I should go for? I know Arden teal offers Blake stitch version for their shoe which means the outsole is changeable if wear out. Not sure about rad Russel, though it seems the general consensus is that it's also durable enough.

For running shoe I'm wearing a 2E Asics kayano if that matters.

I think I know why.

I asked a few, and they claimed that they could not wear sandals or flip flops because of numbness of the foot. So when they walked, the sandals would fall off.

I don't wear slippers or sandals when I go out is probably due to phobia. When I was young boy, I did wear and then kicked onto a rock and bled a lot. My late grandpa sent to me A&E... so i do have a phobia of wearing sandals or slippers. Crocs is ok for me because it has that front coverage to prevent injury if I happen to kick on some object.

No wonder you're scared of virgin ladies. :frown:
