（中央社聖保羅30日綜合外電報導）蘋果公司的iPhone4上週才有一支在澳洲內陸航班上起火，今天巴西又傳出1名女子睡覺時，一旁充電的iPhone突然自燃。幸好該女子及時驚醒，才未釀成大禍。
巴西女子莫塔（Ayla Mota）說，她睡覺時把手機放在床邊充電。結果睡到一半，看到手機出現火花。莫塔起床後，發現整個房間都被煙霧吞沒，幸好她趕緊應變，避免一場災難發生。
巴西科技網站TechTudo報導，莫塔說：「我的手機在我起床後不到幾秒就自燃。手機冒出火花和黑煙，整個房間也都是煙。我關掉房間電源開關，然後開窗戶排煙。我沒有受傷，不過手機只距離我的眼睛約15公分。」
目前起因似乎是手機電池。不過截至目前蘋果公司尚未對此做出回應。
