I found out that my 43-year-old mother takes a contraceptive pill. What should I do?

I know of a ATB lawyer who is a single mother, she has a 5-year old son.

From what I've learnt from my ATB friend who is her close friend, the single mother lawyer ATB has dated quite a number of men but those relationships usually never lasted for more than 1-2 years. She's quite 'blunt' and 'demanding', and that turned off those men. Those men probably didn't like the idea of her having a kid.

I have met that single mother lawyer ATB and her kid during a gathering with my ATB friend (she rents out a condo room to her lawyer friend). I can tell the kid is confused or emotionally scarred by not having a father figure (made worse by having a strict mother). He sat quietly at one corner playing with his toys while we were eating, sometimes mumbling to himself.

The kid is probably mumbling that he wants his own condo room instead of sharing with his mother.:biggrin:

I'm sure he's reciting the words from the little red book by Chairman Mao.

Single mums have a dilemma.

Kids are like baggage to them. Their kids feel uncomfortable about them having other men, some are very protective of their mothers. It is the blood of their ex running in the child.

If Single mums are not dating and just focus on children, they do a mis-service to themselves. Either they missed out chances to satisfy their needs and get pampered, the serious ones also missed opportunities to find a good man and settle down.
