If really want to understand a country, must at least stay there for 90 to 180 days and really understand their way of life, mix with locals, etc etc. Then more meaningful.

All tourism does is touch and go mode. Like that must as well watch YouTube or TikTok. No need to waste time and money to do all these touch and go meaningless travel...

is it? i am more of a foodie touring. I get to try different vegetarian cuisine, food, cafe, eateries of different types and variety. tea drinking and some coffee drinking is a must. I enjoy myself fully. Since i am into women-free life, no pussies trying for me. I also enjoy shopping and chilled. quite nice leh.

I went to a National palace museum in Taiwan and spend a solid 2 hours there. There is so much info to learn from there. The items comparisons between centuries is amazing.

The problem with most S'poreans is that we do not take the time to smell the roses when we travel. We tend to pack as many activities in as possible to maximise our trip in view of the cost of the air tickets and hotel.

Every time I travel with my friends, they choose to eat Chinese or Asian food by the 2nd or 3rd day anywhere in the world.

I bet the museum did not mention when the portuguese and dutch arrived, there were no chinese on the island and it was not part of China.

I have not travelled since the world reopened after covid. I see it as pointless and inconvenient since I can see different countries for free via YouTube. Besides, sg has everything I need and more. The world is a dangerous place, SG is my safe sanctuary, my paradise.
