I work as a security job before , so I know

one was with jordon industries in woodlans (next to kong guan cookie factory)
the next was with the Uncle 'dunno wat' cirus from england in woodland

another was at ACM (asian civilzation meusem)
(this job was very tough,. had to stand for 12 hours)

A real security personnel should be able to look at CCTV, spot suspicious behaviour or violations, do spot checks, check for suspicious items on persons or vehicles, handle fire emergency situation (not run blindly to lift and get caught by fire!!), do first aid or emergency CPR (if doing night duty and nobody but u around when someone collapse...etc)...and the list goes on.

i ve worked in security before as well, not officially, snce didnt take exams, but i do know what it feels like... thats why
PM should not listen to lies and find out the FOOking truth

and yes, i wa born with a so called golden spoon as well, but i have no qualms doin decent honest jobs.. rather than a job that lets you lie just to get more money

the night shift security guard is easy
one babu singh will come and take over my shift at 7pm
in rosewood condo when it was still under construction
he told me he would sleep under the table at 10 pm
and ask me to wake him up tomorrow at 7am
when I come the next day
day shift is tuff, VERY HOT

many indian like to work night shift condo
they will prepare 'cardboard' bed at around 11pm

those working day will flirt around with the filipio maid and go up to the master bed room to 'work'

Gz, most of the forummers here would not agree with ur statement tat security guard is a tough job. They will tell u its an easy, lazy and lepak job cos most of the guards r non Chinese.

But i agree with u tat standing for 12 hrs, working 6 or 7 days a week is not an easy job.

I am talking about real security personnel eg from Certis Cisco. They guard all the sensitive installations like data centers, banks..etc

Anyone who has done NS will have done guard duty except if you are exceptional and a brigadier

BGs do guard duty when they were not BGs. Only BGs promoted at the youngest age of 32 are exempt

I'm an ordinary Singaporean, not an elite, eat mee siam mai hum ai hiam all the time and never expect anything useful from that decidedly non-exceptional fellow. :p
