6月3日从在汉开幕的第十五届全国高温超导学术研讨会上获悉，经过50余年艰难探索，位于武汉的中船重工第七一二研究所突破高温超导电机多项关键核心技术，未来5年有望在风电等领域实现示范应用。
超导，被称作二十世纪最伟大的科学发现之一，是指某些材料在温度降低到某一临界温度时，电阻突然消失的现象。因为这一特性，超导材料应用十分广泛。
高温超导电机体积小、重量轻、效率高，可广泛应用于新能源、航天发射、轨道交通、民用电网等领域。“从上世纪60年代中期起，我所四代科研人员接续奋斗，在超导领域开始了长达半个多世纪的研究。”七一二所负责人介绍，技术人员从零起步先后突破了高温超导同步电机、高温超导磁体系统、低温冷却与制冷等高温超导电机诸多关键技术。
1992年，技术人员成功研制出300千瓦超导单极电机，当年被列入我国工程与技术领域四大优秀成果之一。2007年、2012年，该所相继研制出100千瓦高温超导电机样机和国内首台兆瓦级高温超导电机样机。如今，七一二所高温超导电机总体研究水平处于国内领先水平。
全国高温超导学术研讨会是国内超导界规模最大的学术会议，由国家超导技术联合研究开发中心发起主办，每两年举办一次。今年，研讨会吸引了来自国内高校、科研院所和企业的专家学者700余人参会。

On June 3, I learned from the 15th National High Temperature Superconducting Symposium held in Han. The high-temperature superconducting machine is small in size, light in weight and high in efficiency, and can be widely used in new energy, space launch, rail transit, civil power grid and the like. "Since the mid-1960s, the four generations of scientific research personnel of our institute have continued to struggle and began research in the field of superconductivity for more than half a century." The person in charge of 712 introduced that the technicians broke through from scratch. High-temperature superconducting synchronous motor, high-temperature superconducting magnet system, low-temperature cooling and refrigeration and other high-temperature superconducting machines.
In 1992, technicians successfully developed a 300 kW superconducting monopole motor, which was included in one of the four outstanding achievements in engineering and technology in China. In 2007 and 2012, the institute successively developed a prototype of a 100 kW high-temperature superconducting machine and a prototype of the first megawatt high-temperature superconducting machine in China. Today, the overall research level of the 721 high-temperature superconducting machines is at the domestic leading level.
The National High Temperature Superconducting Symposium is the largest academic conference in the domestic superconducting industry. It is sponsored by the National Superconducting Technology Joint Research and Development Center and is held every two years. This year, the seminar attracted more than 700 experts and scholars from domestic universities, research institutes and enterprises.
