The metal drum explodes into flames, and propels both youths into the air.
The explosion took place in the city of Recife, in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, on January 7.
Footage caught by a security camera shows one man standing in front of a metal barrel, with the other sitting on top of another nearby oil drum
The pair seem to be messing around with some kind of vapour residue left in the barrels.
