And now wants to TACO. But Xi says it's just too late and too risky to depend on US tech due to ad hoc unilateral sanctions.

Whenever Trump speaks about China, he often focuses on high praise of Xi, frequently highlighting, we have a very close personal relationship, he is a good friend of mine and China is beautiful country.

He knows Winnie loves flattery. Winnie might be a bit buay song but he will still give face and give back the flattery e.g. the welcome given by Tiong kids, North Korean style, at the airport in Beijing.

If you want to know the truth, Rubio speaks it.

Now let's see Winnie visit the USA this coming 中秋节, assuming nothing happens during the next four months. :sneaky:

The very reason why Winnie didn't show up at the airport to welcome him already tells the whole story. Furthermore, his direct warning to Trump on Taiwan is very bold and daring indeed. How naive can you get?

For this trip, everyone knows that Trump is going there as a loser. Practically, Winnie has the upper hand in this summit.

Few trade negotiations following Liberation Day and the meeting in Beijing were completed without a joint press conference, a common practice used to announce a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Although Presidents Trump and Xi made a joint statement in Beijing on May 15, 2026, they did not present or sign a joint document, leaving experts uncertain about whether an MOU has been finalized.
