I prefer this sort of Korean drama....

Korean dramas generally fall into two categories:

1) Man and woman from different family backgrounds (usually wealth) fall in love, but their family members object to the marriage.

2) Ancient Korean traditional costume period drama: plotting and backstabbing in the palace.

I don't watch them, but the women love this predictable Korean shit.

Korean drama basically got not much logic involved and those directors don't really care much about it.
1) Koreans don't lock their front door
2) Anyone can easily walk in and enter into the house
3) Anyone can easily search the house and take anything
4) When a guy/gal is about to reveal a secret, 100% something sure will pop up to stop him/her doing it

Korean dramas are very draggy, but some of those korean movies have good sex scenes.
Recommended to watch a few of them on youtube. ;)

it happens in any dramas.

people don't smoke in Korean dramas. even our Mediacock dramas allow smoking.

I think women who love Korean serials have a thing with men who looks and act feminine....or what is known as metrosexual, whatever that fucking term means.

I called them Korean rubbish show!! most of the Beautiful actress are made of plastic!!

Taiwan drama Life Night Market quarrelsome show, they visit each other in the office and homes
just to quarrel, plot and back stabbing, love triangle!!

Korean dramas are predictable, draggy and melodramatic with illogical plots. They like to play up all their crying scenes with high-pitched screaming and full-bellied bawling; or else it's 5 min of the girl reminiscing about past romantic moments with some soppy score playing in the background.

And they serve up a totally idealized, unreal picture of Korean society: no one smokes, all the women work, men are chivalrous towards women, husbands don't beat their wives and couples don't sleep together until marriage.

And the plastic surgery gets to you after a while when you start to have difficulty telling one actress from another, especially in epic dramas with big casts.

the Korean dramas also show that the society is very corrupt: their politics are rotten to the core, the defender of justice: the polices, prosecutors and judges, are all on the bribe, the businessmen are totally unscrupulous...this is a real negative portrayal of the country.

Taiwan dramas are damn funny.
When they start at chapter 1, you see the opening credits, it's one group of actors and actresses.
By the time they reach chapter 60, all the actors and actresses have all changed to a whole new batch of people, but the opening credits are still the same. :D

should credit the Taiwanese producers for making an incredible long draggy show that is quite watchable to its target viewers. it is not easy to make such a long drama and retain high ratings too. mediacock can do it ? i watch half an hour of mediacock dramas. cannot watch already. so dull and boring...

anyone watches China mainland dramas: the Chinese republican era dramas ?

the Taiwanese version changes the opening credits many times to correspond to the drama storyline. SG version never changes from ep1 to end... :D

At the recent Korean F1 Grand Prix, all the race queens looked like they had been to the same plastic surgeon.
