Don't believe his rubbish about water cold or not, Krafty can't swim at all. Anybody knowing anything about swimming and angling knows that night waters are warmer than room temperature. In fact, he didn't go there that night or any night at all. He'd be drowned even in a HDB swimming pool.

It'll take quite a sizeable pool too drown him. He's quite sizeable. But a HDB SCC Olympic-sized pool is no problem for that.
