How to create a gunshot sound effect

1) Get a dart
2) Remove the sharp pin using a plier
3) Get ready a nail about same size in diameter as that of the original pin
4) Chipped some matchstick
5) Insert the chipped matchstick power into the dart hole
6) Insert the nail inverted
7) Threw the dart high and ensure it landed on the nail end, you will hear a sound as loud as a gunshot

tied a rubber band to the nail and attach it to the body of the dart, if not it a pain in the arse to find the nail when it fly out after it land. also use a file to blunt the sharp end of the nail for better effect and dont put too much matchstick powder into the dart hole as i once blew out the cheap plastic dart after i putted in too much powder and drop it off from a four storey corridor.

OIC, did you noticed after a few throws, the round metal thing inside the dart will get smaller, and once it drops off cannot produce the explosion liao ?
I wonder wtf is that metal ring, how come when mixed with matchstick can create such a effect .
