How to become Authorized Apple Dealer ?

I see quite a number of Mac stores sprung up in the city of Bangkok. They're known as 'iStudio' and most if not all are run by youngsters.

I'm not sure if Apple in Sg works in the same way. Is iStudio a franchise ? How much capital is required to run an iStudio ?
