give them electronic game software (PC, console, PSP, etc), and trading cards (yu-gi-oh, magic the gathering, etc), manga/ comics, as perks?

come up with a gaming room, anime watching room, for them in the office?

Sack senior management. Otherwise when the old fucks are sitting comfortable there, they got no chance to promote and develop their talents.

Confirm your bosses will love your proposal.

That was what our civil service did right? Promote them through the roof.

Gen Y-ers are just like your typical spoilt younger siblings

Give them more creative space

Keep them excited

Allow them to keep a sense of individuality at the work place. [Remember: unlike us, they live grew up with the choice to customise... ]

You have to hire those who are hungry and have the right values. This does not mean you only hire people from poorer backgrounds. Some well brought up rich kids also have such qualities as compared to middle class spoilt brats.

Everyone of these must have a mentor who is willing to coach them and let them excel. They also must be made to compete with one another and the deserving ones should get rewarded for this.

pai seh, don't have that why i'm seeking help from the experience bro here... experience is always better compare to those so-called hiring expert... :)
