in buddhism, there is the 4 NOBLE TRUTH. in pap, there are also the 4DESPICABLE ENSLAVERY....
The STRUCTURE OF THE PAP government is supported by the four pillars of (a) Land Grab Law (b) Debt Slavery (c) Wage Theft (d) Mind Control.
LAND GRAB LAW. Through the land acquisition act, the PAP is able to amass and control directly or indirectly, about 80% of the land in Singapore. Many of the land were acquired at less than $1 per square foot and yet sold to the public at over $1000/- per square foot. What makes Singapore the most expensive country in the world is because of the frequent increase in rents.
DEBT SLAVERY. Almost 90% of Singaporeans live in HDB flats which are very costly. So that when the average Singaporean buys a HDB flat, he(she) is indebted his(her) whole life. Further, without any social benefits and the high cost of living, many Singaporeans need to slog heavily throughout their lives to clear their debts. That is why retirement age keeps increasing from 55 to 62 and then to 65.
WAGE THEFT. Wages of workers have not increased proportionately with the rising cost of living. In fact, many have to work longer hours without any increase in pay. Wage theft takes the form of no minimum wage, the denial of reasonable medical benefits, workers practically denied a recourse in disputes with employers and strike is practically impossible. The NTUC is controlled by the PAP and does its bidding.
MIND CONTROL. Singaporeans are denied an alternative source of news which is not controlled, directly or indirectly, by the PAP. The PAP controls the newspapers, radio, TV and practically the main stream media. Much of the local political news from main stream media is largely PAP propaganda with a political agenda.
