Those who are blind to what is going on in SG would certainly vote for the PAP. Credit must be given to opposition parties for waking up the locals about the mistakes and bad policies of PAP. The opposition parties forced the PAP to re-think their policies of running this tiny island. Prior to last GE, PAP ignored concentration of FTsh in their own enclaves in certain parts of SG. Today, the HDB introduced certain guidelines to scatter FTsh to different parts to demolish such enclaves. There are also more examples of changes made by the PAP. Were the opposition useless? Come on, man. Give credit where credit is due.

Well said. Many of us can see your points and fully agree with what you said. But some are blind and dont see the many mistakes made by the pap.

1. Roles and functions of PA - whether there was any PAP abuse or misuse of PA for its political gains
2. Funding of PA - whether there was any mis-appropriation or misuse of public funds by PA
3. Election Dept - whether there was any abuse of ED
4. YOG - whether there was misuse of public funds
5. AIM - convene an Independent Inquiry
6. Criminal Conduct of Top Civil Servants - whether there were lapses or negligence by the respective Ministers in the appointment of top civil servants in view of so many corruption cases
7. Inquiry into GIC
8. Inquiry into Temasek Holdings
9. Inquiry into the management of CPF funds

Most of us are patriotic Singaporeans. We are against the pap giving our country away to foreigners

Uniquely Singapore. You don't find other countries in the world welcoming foreigners in large numbers. Even foreigners, who are PRs, are also allowed to buy HDB flats to re-sell in the open market for huge profits, just like citizens. PRs can compete with citizens for jobs, schools, etc. The PAP really loves foreigners.

Actually the solution is very simple. We need a government that cares for its people.. Full stop. Don't behave like it knows best, tell people how to run their lives, preventing people from taking their hard earned monies and tries to upset the pop balance by flooding us with FTs. And also they should stop overpaying themselves!!

It is not treason; it is tee kor liang, tee kor chor or they call it the whip in Parliament. If you are PAP MP and you don't support PAP in Parliament, the Whip is used to split open your arse. However, that Whip cannot be used on LTK and his group. If you want people in Parliament to speak up for the people or against the PAP, who do you choose? PAP MP or opposition MP? Only idiots would send PAP MP into Parliament when he can only say "aye, aye" to whatever is proposed by PAP.

Inderjit abstained. He will face the consequences and will likely not be fielded at the next GE. My salute to him for standing up to an obviously bad policy. The pap can use the whip, but righteous members shd quit the pap if the policy is totally stupid
