i do not believe and am not discouraged by what MSM say. I trust my own judgement.

the MSM shows that SR Nathan was a well-liked President..but the ground feel totally contradicted what the MSM projected.

The MSN show PAP MPs are welcomed by the people, but go on the ground and you realise the truth.

I was at old Airport Road yesterday and saw YI and his wife walking sheepishly and ignored by Singaporeans. how sad when they dont have grassroots to boost up their egos

i did convince many elder Singaporeans. the secret is not to preach to them in one session. befriend them, know them, etc and slowly talk abt how difficult life is in SG, etc and let it come from them

So there are a lot of elderly who supported PAP.
Good for you and your effort.
But it will only create more excitement, the end result of election is still the same.

It's true that many of the old generation that are living in Spore are supporters of the PAP. Or rather LKY & not LHL & the nameless PAP party.
Once LKY is gone the PAP will probably lose these supporters.

However with so many things going wrong & LKY being MIA, enough of these people may soon decide it's time for new blood. I expect a gradual change with more opposition members being voted in. When people see how much better things can be with more opposition LHL will be history.

SG is now a divided nation; natives on one side and imported new citizens on the other side. Integration is but a dream of the PAP. Look at the pinoys, ah tiongs, ang mohs, ah nehs, etc who are imported FTsh new citizens and you can see that they are not real citizens in heart and soul. Unlike all locals whose parents are born here, SG is their homeland but these imported FTsh citizens are just economic refugees here for the jobs, education, medical services, security, modern living, etc. Would they stay to fight and die for this country? Very doubtful when they have another home land to flee to. Where can natives flee to? Pulau Bukom?

Is there a core of patriotic Singaporeans? Yes, there is still a core but the core is getting smaller as more foreigners become citizens. Eventually, FTsh will overwhelm the locals in numbers and the natives become a minority in this tiny island. PAP makes a mess of this country with their policy to flood this tiny island with foreigners. Now, the natives must put a stop to this policy or face the consequences of becoming a minority in their own home land.

I agree with you.

Perhaps, this is PAP's devilish scheme to rule Singapore forever. The pap knows that native Singaporeans are not supporting the pap now. The pap's only means is to import new people and place them to confront the natives. Divide SG and weaken the natives. But this scheme doesnt work for long. In time to come new citizens will wise up and also turn against the pap

Most of us are patriotic Singaporeans. We are against the pap giving our country away to foreigners
