How Much $$$ Do Watch Shops Charge To Change A Watch Strap ?

let's say i buy a watch strap somewhere and then ask the staff at a normal watch shop at a normal shopping mall to help me change the strap of my watch, how much normally they charge ?


or better yet, how do i change it myself since i don't have any tools at all ?

Depends wether it is the hide of SINgaporeans, that is cheap, ha ha ha. OK lah!, no joke, to fun.....no son!. They will tell you, real leather $12, bargain ($8), some shops aroind $5 to $8. Bargain, if you can, ask for real leather, say, you want to see the buffalo or the bull is you can!.

Never bought the strap somewhere and asked another shop staff to change it.
If buy a simple leather strap and ask the same shop staff to change it for you, should be between
$6 to $12, depending on the type of shop and the type of strap.
Better to go to those shops not in shopping malls as it is usually cheaper.

Have a few straps for a watch and when I need to change it Nanking watch shop will do it for me for free

If DIY use wooden tools to avoid scratching. There are wooden tools like pinchers etc.
