I came across a video that gives an idea of how much HOTA parts can fetch. It's plenty of $$$$ & of course there is added profit for the hospitals, surgeons, .......etc that a medical l tourists might need. As long as it's profitable don't expect any changes in the policy of the PAP.

Indeed. You think HOTA is about saving lives? Maybe, but not the whole truth. It's for the rich medical tourists, occasionally the leaders of regimes such as Myanmar, Zimbabwe and North Korea. They do not need to queue for a transplant. That is fact.

You know that something is afoot when they start using emotional and/or religious appeal to get people not to opt out of HOTA. There is also a veiled threat of 'not receiving priority' should you need a transplant. Fear mongering and scare tactics, typical of the Leegime.

For many Sporeans going to a hospital is only a matter of time. The stress of living in Spore will take it's toll. With the high cost of hospitalization many will probably be sucked dry. With HOTA they are also vulnerable to having their organs harvested.

It's unfortunate that Sporeans voted for this.
