Christmas, from what is being portrayed of it, does not come across as a religious festival, I don't see any connection between Christmas trees, Santa Claus and/or reindeer with the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas is the big bang party to end the year.

Most religious festivals have deviated from their original intent owing to in the infusion of local myths, pagan rituals and cultural elements. In the 20th century, commercialization served to morph these festivals further, resulting in an outer celebration far removed from their origins.

Because ang moh is the best, and we God fearing Christian bureaucrats must do our utmost to stamp out heathen pagan rituals like playing drums during Thaipusam.
