he could literally smell the PM post just like how you feel when you have undressed a girl and think you are confirmed getting laid.

But after his 54%, the PM post will never be his

He can just be half a PM...or 54% worth at least.

He can be a Minister without Portfolio: MWP.

He just doesn’t have the characteristics to be the leader la. He doesn’t sound confident or charismatic. Honestly , even Chan Chun Sing will seem stronger than him, despite being an idiot.

He could just be a minister without portfolio in the PMO.

Might as well surrender.

PAP’S GAME OF CARDS - HAS HENG SWEE KEAT BEEN EXPENDED BY THE SHADOW FROM WITHIN HIS OWN PARTY?
The PAP’s strategy for GE2020 thus far is like a “Game of Cards”. With the Royal’s advantage of being the chief strategist for this election, the Shadow-Paladin within the PAP has conveniently “deck” away the future Prime Minister, from the safety of Tampines, into the battleground of East Coast GRC.
While the residents in East Coast GRC may think that they have the power to decide the future PM of Singapore, Heng was already expended by the power from within the PAP. With a serious health issue, he is not battle-fit to fight out any competitive battle, much less without his loyal grassroots leaders, activists and residents of Tampines.
This will exact a serious toll on his health. Even if he wins East Coast GRC, his health may impede him from becoming the next PM. In the game of cards, it is all about the odds, and the odds are now stacked against him.
The power within the current PAP is a coalition of many smaller camps. You have the paper generals, the union-backed camp and those from the civil and private sectors. When so many MPs suddenly retire or step down, while a large influx of new candidates with military background are being brought in, the writing is already on the wall as to which camp is calling the shot within the PAP.
By way of his speech on Nomination Day, it is quite clear that Heng was caught off-guard by the whole affair. When the media mocked him, the message is already very clear – he is done. There is nothing that Heng can do at this point but to play ball obediently.
It is indeed sad that he was further guttered by an engineered media campaign that suggested voting Heng out so that Tharman can be restored as the next PM. Truth is, Tharman is also an expended force just like Heng, and opposition of the PAP do not trust him. So who is behind this guttering?
Heng was kept initially at Tampines as the PAP knows well that the opposition will not send their A-Team to contest against him as they have more strategic wards to fight. On Nomination Day, his use as a vanguard at Tampines was no longer needed.
Guess what, Heng was traded away so that Tampines could adopt a son in place of him. In the game of Cardfight, trading away the Gold-Paladin for a deceptive Kagero-son is pure madness.
In GE2020, the power within the PAP is the real banker and all the odds are all in their favour. Knowing well voters can be easily “frighten or influence” into voting for the PAP, it is looking like one of the camp within the PAP is already using this opportunity to grab for more power.
Like the expended Heng, there is not much that his comrades from the civil service or private sectors, loyal grassroots leaders, activists and supporters can do but to accept their own propaganda of self-renewal.
This may explains why so many PAP candidates are stumbling with their campaign speeches or decided to quit out of a sudden.
Knowing how predictable voters are going to vote, the banker, or rather the Shadow-Paladin is very confident about winning big and staying in power.
The only reason why the PAP is calling GE2020 a battle is because many of their candidates have no real life experience or scar to show for. They needed some “battle-scars” and that is why they are hyping up on their self-concocted “fierce battles” to create their own “battle-scars”.
Yes it sounds pathetic and is indeed pathetic. Go review the odds of GE2020 and validate how many GRCs or SMCs are “real battles” to begin with.
As the next in line for the PM post, the Shadow-Paladin is the main beneficiary of the PAP’s self-renewal exercise. It is inconsequential whether the Gold-Paladin lost his battle or health at East Coast GRC.
Guess there is some truth that politics can indeed be viciously brutal. With his future secured, guess the future PM wants to be surrounded by paper-generals with “battle-scars” so as to look more credible.
As such, he has been placing his new generals strategically in secured wards so that the voters, like Heng, will obediently vote for them and helps the PAP to return to power.
He is cleverly using the voters to help him terminate his opponents while fortifying his power without lifting a finger. Once done, his future as the next PM is fortified, secured and safe. What a clever chief strategist the Shadow-Paladin truly is.
As such, it is the residents of Tanjong Pagar that have the real power to decide the future PM of Singapore, not East Coast.
In fact, they also have the power to expose the power behind the Shadow-Paladin. By reading the way this Cardfight is pending out, it is likely that a young mind has been strategizing it. Who can this “shadow” behind the Shadow-Paladin be then?
If GE2020 is indeed treated like a game of Cardfight, then I guess LKY himself would be very troubled as the future of Singapore is definitely not a game of card, but my life and yours.
Are we all been used sinisterly by the Shadow Paladin to do his dirty work at GE2020?
By now, I hope more Singaporeans will sit up and appreciate the numerous warnings from Lee Hsien Yang that all is not well within the current PAP and take their votes seriously if they still believe that Singapore deserves better…

PS: For those who are clueless about what a Paladin is, go ask any teenager or youngster about “Cardfight! Vanguard” and have fun learning more about these characters and card-strategies from them…

If HSK stayed put in Tampines GRC, he should be able to garner more than 65% or even 70% votes, then the post of PM would be his without any doubt. But to secure EC GRC with only 9 days of campaign should be considered as a merit.
