Hitler's pleas for peace are ignored as the UK /French Alliance amasses 600,000 troops in Northern France. Plans are openly discussed to advance eastward upon Germany through Belgium and Holland, as well as establishing operations in neutral Norway and Denmark, with or without their consent.

REGARDING POLAND: "I attempted to find a tolerable solution . I submitted this attempt to the Poles. You know these proposals were more than moderate. The Polish Government refused these proposals and gave the order for the first mobilization, and my request to the Polish Foreign Minister to visit me to discuss these questions was refused. Instead of going to Berlin, he went to London.”

- Danzig Speech, September 1939

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

REGARDING FRANCE: "I have always expressed to France my desire to bury forever our ancient enmity and bring together these two nations, both of which have such glorious pasts."

- Reichstag Speech, October, 1939

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

REGARDING GREAT BRITAIN: "I have devoted no less effort to the achievement of Anglo-German understanding, no, more than that, of an Anglo-German friendship. At no time and in no place have I ever acted contrary to British interests..."Why should this war in the West be fought?"

- Reichstag Speech, October, 1939

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

REGARDING THE SOVIET UNION: "I did not seek war. To the contrary, I have done everything to avoid conflict. But I would forget my duty if I were to do nothing in spite of the realization that a conflict had become unavoidable. Soviet Russia is the gravest danger not only for Germany but for all of Europe, I decided to give the order to attack a few days before the outbreak of this conflict. A truly impressive amount of authentic material is now available which confirms that a Soviet attack was impending."

- Reichstag Speech, December, 1941

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

REGARDING THE UNITED STATES: "Despite the years of intolerable provocations by President Roosevelt, Germany sincerely and patiently tried to prevent the expansion of this war and to maintain relations with the United States. But as a result of his campaign, these efforts have failed."

- Reichstag Speech, December, 1941

Say one thing, do another.

Motto of all politicians. Including those sitting in our parliament and pretend to debate on subject not relevant to our life.

you forgot to mention the part when hirohito kneeled infront of hideki tojo not to enter ww2 :eek:

People already die so many years and you guys still cannot let go? :D

Only what he said about Great Britain resembles anything like the truth. He deeply respected GB and believed that GB and Germany were of the same stock (like some here, the notion of race was very important to him). The British Royal Family was essentially German, after all.

Regarding the rest, it was just shadow boxing and buying time.

All wars are bankers' wars. They fund both sides of the conflict and profit from it.

Hitler was unlucky because the bankers had decided to switch support to the enemies of the Nazis.

Nothing personal, it's just business.

The REAL story of World War II that you were never taught

look at the dates of the speeches........................before war began................

WWII started on 1 Sep 1939.

All speeches were after he started war(s) on each front - Poland (West), Russia (East) and USA finally (after 7 Dec 1941 Pearl Harbour).

Brother, we can let it go... but we should also give reminder to next generation of the history lessons in order to avoid another mistake.

Actually, Hitler was afraid of Britain entering the war in the early years after WW2 started, when they steamrolled over Poland et al. Each time He was looking over his shoulders for Britain to intervene, as it was the only power he feared that would derail his plans. But Neville Chamberlain, then PM, was an asshole pacifist, who believed in appeasement of Hitler to avoid war, so he sought at every step to concede to Hitler, who got more brazen by the weeks. He despised Chamberlain. All this can be found in hundreds of thousands of war documents, war diaries, logs, carefully recorded by the Third Reich, and some of them compiled in a book by Alan Bullock in Hitler: A study in tyranny, considered an authoritative source by academics and researchers in WW2 history, Germany, Hitler, etc.

Ya lor...
Once China conquer at least whole Asia, and become top in military power, the history could be rewritten.
We all know that history was written by the winner(s)!
Closet sample is here in Sinkie land, where Singapore history was mainly about PAP.

i would prefer a triple alliance of Germany, China and Japan to contend against Soviet Union and Communism back then. the ideal scenario would be the three countries jointly attacking the Soviets: China to retake Outer Manchuria and Japan to invade the Siberian region and Sakhalin islands...kick the Russian out of East Asia. in fact. the Germany ambassador to China proposed a China-Japan-Germany military alliance targeted against the Soviets to China leader Chiang Kai Shek during the battle of Nanking 1937 in an effort to bring an end to the Sino-Japanese war. it was a case of too little, too late to save the situation...
