The UMNO gang knows how to cheat ...even though it is haphazard. An example ...Kedah, Terangganu, Perak and Perlis had the Pakatan coalition as winners ...then there were recounts and COINCIDENTALLY there were blackouts during the recounts ...and walla, BN won the four states.

- monopolising potential candidates
- offering or turning over critics or potential rivals by offering plum jobs and assignments on the pretest of serving the nation
- grooming the potential cream of every school leaving cohort
- offering free carparks, early enrolment phase for Primary 1 registration, national awards, tickets for NDP parades for grassroots volunteers
- offering paid holiday trips on the pretext of nation building and bonding for grassroot organisers and volunteers
- building golf course and recreational facilities for politically symbiotic organisations
- controlling food and essentials thru symbiotic organisations making the population dependent on them
- rationalising unacceptable practices and abuses as acceptable or meritocratic.

Just heard from a group of very anti-BN Malaysians, who, other than the embassy staff, seems to make up the entire Malaysian population here in Phnom Penh, that Anwar has been bought for MR25M. One opined that the oppo should go direct to the Federal Courts. There were heated discussions of the dirty tactics BN used and I swear had I been in the slightest pro-BN, I would not have walked out of that alive, so pissed off were they. I eel for them.
