before I could figure it out, along comes strawberry generation. so many jargons! what the hell are they??:*:
 
I believe you are correct. 60s saw the end of the Baby Boomers and people didn't know what to call the kids born after them, so they simply called them Generation X. Y and Z came naturally. After that, I don't know what they're called, waiting to see.

the strawberry gen after Z. after that maybe, blueberry, raspberry and all other berries which are soft fruits that spoiled easily and best used to describe our future generation.
