GC = gastric cancer. So lovastatin has no effect.

Simvastatin - that’s effective on wide variety of cancers - and pravastatin also no effect on gastric cancer in the two clinical trials. Due to low dose and extensive hepatic metabolism.

Anyway here say cannot use as stand alone but as add on to chemotherapy as the statin required for anti cancer need to reach concentrations that are unattainable in clinical practice without inducing side effects.
