How Cum Workers' Party has NO COMMENT on PRC Workers' Strike?

I hope all parties will not politicize this issue. It is a clear cut labour dispute and should be resolved by the parties concerned.

Let the parties who cast the net do the untangling :D

Getting any other parties (be it opposition and others) would only muddled the issue.

Of course there will always be political opportunists who would like to stir the pot and see what they can get out of it.

there's no need for any oppo party to chime in when it should be resolved between ah tiongs whom pappy masters have imported by the tens of thousands and the pappy masters themselves. in other words, they created their own f*cking problem by exploiting foreign labor and going cheap, and now they have to find a way out of it unscathed. remember one of napoleon's maxims. "when the enemy is making a mistake, do not interrupt."

Thought Worker's Party represent Sillyporean workers ? :p

Oh I see... but some brilliant political ANALyst thinks that includes Banglas and Ah Tiongs as well... could he possibly be wrong?

Why is there a need for Opp parties to comment? It took nearly 48 hrs for the govt with its full gear to even define their act as an illegal strike. You think the Opp parties have the chance to get anything on the issue? People who think that Opp parties must comment on this fail - as always - to understand how partisan this govt is.

As watchman said, Let them stew in their own juices - it is a fisaco and a debacle of their own making. The PAP has dug its own grave, again.

Opp parties should eye power the saga developing and gloat when the govt begins to mismanage the issue. That is when we shld all jump in - not now. Doing it now is to fall in to a trap.

Did they? U and I hv lost our jobs here and WP cant do anything about it and did nothing too. "Workers" in name only.
They would not rock their Iron rice Plates. Too comfortable now. Im beginning not to VOTE them in. Whats the difference???

Oppo no need to comment now. If PAP gahment mishandle this case, oppo's comment will be timely.

The govt as well as the top honcho of SMRT/MOM/unions.....etc. are the hand-picked and besterest of all, remember?

They are more than capable of digging their own graves and bury themselves in. No need help from any any, including opposition parties. This is a private employment dispute between workers and the company so lets just sit back and enjoy the show. Any form of settlement will have big impact across the 'FT' issue, positively or negatively.

The oppositions should savor the moment...this moment in time!! the stew will boil over the cauldron...

They should just watch & let the PAP make a fool of themselves.
When the next GE elections come around they can just add it to the other policies as to why Sporeans should avoid the PAP ;)

SMRT is a company that has ZERO EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT.
Had it being an MNC, its entire management team would have been sacked a few times already!

lianbeng says there are 2 possibilities: 1) see how PAP will handle the case. 2) they agree with the strike. what do u think?:D
