FIRST ON 7: The final moments of Australia's most wanted fugitive, double murderer Malcolm Naden have been revealed.
The pictures are from a documentary airing on Seven on Wednesday night, which gives an amazing insight into how police got their man.
"'Like I said, the days they were just all blended into one, you know'," Naden told detectives after he was finally captured in a brilliant sting.
The documentary catalogues the 2466 days of a psychopath on the run, after the Dubbo murders of Kristi Scholes and Naden's cousin, Lateesha Nolan.
For the first time, we hear from the people he stalked, the people he stole from, and see the homes he ransacked - as well as the police officers he shot at.
The documentary reveals covert police images of Naden's time in the bush, his campsites, how police caught him. It also puts to rest whether Naden ever deserved to be remembered in folklore.
