How come the SIngapore Navy is now employing non singaporeans in a sensitive branch like the submarine service onboard its vessel MV Swift Rescue? Thank you RSAF and SHit Times for omitting the fact that the MV Swift Rescue is a $400 million vessel own and commissioned by the RSN. So, a foreigner is now privy to the normal operating depths of our submarines? The crew and number of each submarine's complement? Operating area and location of disabled submarines? How many Pinoys are working on this vessel? It follows that in order to rescue submarines, you must completely know and understand their operations and procedures. Time for PAP to come clear. What next? Pinoys working on the F-15SGs at Tengah? Pinoys working in Leo 2 tanks, in 48 SAR? This is PAP commitment to total defence? Total meaning every ASEAN country shitizens can totally help themselves to jobs in the SAF? Liddat also can? Fucking PAP.

RSAF successfully evacuates Filipino from submarine support and rescue vessel

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) successfully evacuated a Filipino civilian in a stable condition to the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), early Thurday morning, on May 8.

The Filipino, a civilian crew member, was on board MV Swift Rescue, a Submarine Support and Rescue Vessel, that was 250km off Singapore's coast, according to a post on the RSAF's Facebook page.

Rescue 10 was scrambled at about 4.10am and reached SGH at 6.25am. The evacuee is suspected to have suffered appendicitis.

This is the Facebook post from the RSAF page:

Rescue 10 was scrambled at 0411H to evacuate a Filipino civilian crew with suspected appendicitis on board MV Swift Rescue, a Submarine Support and Rescue Vessel, that was 250km off our coast. Rescue 10 successfully evacuated the casualty in a stable condition to the Singapore General Hospital at 0652H.

Singapore is truly a meritocratic utopia. I am proud to be part of her success story and urge my countrymen to let more able hands take charge of our future.

what's so surprising?

we even have PRs in police force

i wonder how does the SPF define what are "committed" PRs??

hahaha....as usual kpkb without knowledge......
this is a DBOO (design, built, own and operate) vessel......
meaning it is owned and operated by ST Marine, a ST company....not the Navy.
infact the actual operation is chartered to Swire Pacific.....because ST Marine did not have the crew to operate such a vessel...
the crew onboard is civilian not naval personnel....
the equipment onboard is also civilian makes....no (secret) military equipment....
it is (almost) impossible to have 100% singaporean crew for any Singapore owned/registered vessels.....so most if not (all) the crew onboard are foreigners....

Before the start of WWII Japanese barbers would ply their trade in Spore. No one suspected they were spies.

Now you have every tom, dick & harry in Spore. They are not only potential spies but also potential saboteurs.

MV Swift Rescue is a Submarine Support and Rescue Vessel (SSRV) that is operated by the Singapore Navy. It was built by ST Marine, a subsidiary of Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering). The vessel is capable of conducting rescue operations in Sea State 5 conditions. Swift Rescue was launched by the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) in November 2008. The vessel is equipped with Submarine Escape and Rescue (SMER) capabilities.

the above is from the Naval technology website. Hmm...... let me see. Launched by the Singapore Navy, operated by the Singapore navy, and since its a submarine rescue vessel (and I presume ST and Swire Pacific don't own any submarines of their own), but according to you, nothing to do with the Singapore Navy. I think u swallowed too much bangla sperm. Its affected your brain.

U mean she runs the brothel and is the brothel on board?

No but seriously, this is very alarming.

supposedly it is "operated" by the rsn but sub-contracted to st marine (subsidiary of ste) based on a 20-year pubic private partnership (ppp) to design, build, own and operate. civilian contractors with a cervix should also be welcum! :p

ok, 50% owned by st marine and 50% owned by james fisher defence in a jv dba first response marine pte. ltd.

This kind of espionage is nothing new. KGB planted whole set of moles to live like ordinary Americans in USA and then activated them to penetrate US Govt to steal info or documents. In sinkie land with foreigners and PR being allowed to work in Govt, security of the country is certainly compromised.

A PR is a foreigner who cares only about earning money in sinkie land. How are they committed to SG? Nothing. In Little India riot, these PR mata mata ran away.

First he sucks.... you then get buggered by the very same Bangla.

This explains why you're such an uptight pain in the ass.
