This dumb fucker Hoong Wee Teck is now judge, jury and executioner? How can he say this case is solved when it has not gone to court yet? What if the woman they arrested was found innocent in court, than this murder remains unsolved right? What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? To my knowledge, a case is only solved when a conviction is rendered in court. We are far from that stage now. Hoong Wee Teck' statement can already be used by the defence attorney to how that the police had prejudicially determined this woman was guilty before even a court date has been set.

POLICE have confirmed the badly decomposed body found at Clementi Woods Park on July 5 is that of property agent Celine Ng Swee Peng.

Ms Ng, 36, is suspected to have been murdered.

Earlier in May this year, she was reported missing.

Due to the severe state of decomposition, identification of the body was difficult, said the police in a statement.

However, after investigations a 36-year-old female Singaporean was arrested on Monday night in connection with the case.

Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, senior assistant commissioner of police Hoong Wee Teck commended his officers for their doggedness, saying: 'The case posed challenges due to the advanced state of decomposition. I am glad that the officers were able to solve the case successfully.'

After Commissioner rank, it is Deputy Commissioner followed by SAC. Below SAC, you have AC then Dy AC rank.

You are right. Many cho bo lans and jiak liao bees in the SPF. 15 years ago, if the Police had a conference, you throw a stone, sure hit an ASP. About 6 years ago, the stone would hit a DSP. Today? Sure to hit a Supt.

Uniquely SAF mah. Real professional armies have much less rank. US Army for example got SSGT (Staff Sargeant). But in a room full of same rank SSGT, they know who is the senior and who is the leader. They know this because they go by seniority of service and appointment holder. When an org. starts inventing all these ranks, you know its becoming too top heavy.
