There are so many locals kenna retrenched . There are no reports except the local mass media is making noise about re-training.
Why PAP govt is not getting rid of civil servants that are redundant during this downturn? Is it becos of winning votes at the expense of the public money?
Do we need now so many PAP MPs among the small island?
Do we need so many PAP Ministers without portfolio?
Companies like mediacock, radio stations, media dept, SAF , and there are many PAP depts out there which may be not utilitarian. These depts are guzzling up public money.
PAP now should exercise frugality, fire those who are no more in need so tax money is used prudently.
Another thing, we cannot rely on the profits of shares and investment to peg ministers and officials' salaries.
Swiss standard living should not only cater to highly paid civil servants when agriculture is a big joke to HDB leaseholders.
Guess which group of people amid the recession are crowding the shopping Ctes and travel fairs when poor locals have to compete jobs with Fts at the jobs fair.
