How come buses always so easily available whenever trains break down?

I was wondering, and more so recently – why and how can the PAP buscos able to activate ‘standby services’ ‘effectively’ whenever a train disruption occurs OUT of the blue, anywhere?

I come to a common sense CONCLUSION – there MUST be A GROUP of PAID stanby drivers EVER-READY for IMEDIATE action ANYTIME, ANYWHERE.

Remember the PAP USED tax PAYERS money to buy A FLEET of 500 buses – these MUST be FOR STANDBY for on call.

IMPORTANTLY – crucially WHO pays for the COSTS of ALL these UNPRODUCTIVE standbys ??????

It must be because SERVICE DISRUPTIONS are to be EXPECTED, and it is TREATED as a NORM by the PAP, despite ALL these investigations and reinvestigations to investigate reinvestigations, supposedly to eliminate disruptions and LEADING into improvements WHICH looks LIKE will NEVER NEVER happen, the PAP KNOWS!!!!

SO I come to the CRUX – why OIL prices PLUNGED drastically ALL OVER the WORLD and ONLY in SG transport FRAES NEEDED to GO UP – IT IS BECAUSE of the NEED to pay for ALL THESE standby DRIVERS and BUSES – AND it appears, as a NORM because breakdowns is A NORM – fares INCREASE is a NORM.

Public TRASNPORT SERVICES will NEVER NEVER NEVER improve – the PAP knew it and there is A PRICE to pay – BUT how to make it as though the PAP is handling the services DISRUPTIONS WELL and they DONT pay a PRICE???
