Manchu is also chinese. Manchu tribe was created to differentiate class during qing.

The north east of china are consist of mongols, korean and han chinese. All these three are yellow skin people. They inter mix together and decided to create another tribe. As for now, manchu's status i think is low so they themselves will just label themselves as han chinese, they wont say they are manchu.
