When you are no taller than the table, Julie Andrews & the Van....children sang the song, it did not occur that it was absurd, "when the dog barks, when the bee stings, when I am feeling sad, " simply remember my favorite things"..just like when you are in nursery school, having to recite, "the fork ran away with the spoon" didn't soun absurd too right? or your teacher with a big neh neh, doesn'r ring any bells or absurd..right!?? ha ha ha

Kawan, She is trainee nun atau part time nun atau full time nun, is not the issue.

What is nonsensical is how in hell can anyone equate brown paper packages tied up with strings as something they remember so as not to be sad in order not to feel so bad !!!

u use paper 2 wrap tings oni 1 ... u wrap gifts using brown paper n den neatly tie it up wif strings ...

so, wen u receif brown paper packages tied up with strings, u feel happy bcoz u r receiving a present! ...


ofcos, now u oni tinking how 2 wrap it up wif plastic bags, cuff it, tie it wif ropes ... n den beat it wif leather belt n whip la ... :eek:

incidentally, the old man was called Cpt Georg von Tapp. When he was first enlisted at the Austrian military Academy, he was named as the .... Best Recruit ...!!:o:)
 
In her prime she had a a musical voice but I think Anne Murray was more musical. Too bad Julie has lost her voice.
