PAP losing candidate for Hougang by-election Desmond Choo was seen on a pick-up touring the constituency to thank his supporters:

However, he certainly did not expect a frosty reception from some Hougang residents, one of whom gives him a ‘thumbs down’ sign and boo him loudly:

Mr Choo only managed to garner 8,210 votes this time, an increase of 145 votes from the 8,065 votes he obtained last year.

Don't be misled by his smile.Many PAP MPs are self-serving for money and status.He can be a wolf in sheep's clothing.
We don't need PAP elites or scholars to be our MPs who are usually arrogant and cannot relate to the ordinary people.
We need more Opposition MPs who empathised with the ordinary people and understand the problems of the ordinary people.

<!--start of story text-->Cheering crowds lined the streets of Hougang on Sunday to greet newly elected MP for Hougang Png Eng Huat on his victory tour of the ward.
PAP candidate Desmond Choo, who garnered 37.9 per cent of the votes, also went round in an open-top lorry to thank voters in the by-election.
Some residents waved and smiled at Mr Choo. A few shouted encouragingly 'Try again next time' and 'Don't give up!'
Later in the morning, the PAP lorry crossed paths with the WP lorry carrying party chief Low Thia Khiang, Mr Png and six other Workers' Party (WP) MPs.

Especially it is a 'white dog' drowning, not only a HG residence any true blue SINgaporean in any part of SINgapore...not difference. Only difference is HG residence will throw big batu, the rest, small marbles...
