The founder of the Hotel 81 budget hotel chain, Mr Choo Chong Ngen, has donated $2 million to the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to help needy students.

NTU said in a statement yesterday that Mr Choo was thankful for his daughter's education at NTU and decided to make a donation to her alma mater to mark his 60th birthday.

Allowed brother. But I think it's not easy to get the license. There is definitely room for 1-2 more budget/transit chain to operate but I see no newcomer. So I assume it is very hard to get the license. Like I said before, every weekend I go H81, also have to wait 1 hour. So you think business good or not?
